Return to Wonder.

Return to wonder.

Before life grew heavy.

Before your eyes were trained to look past things,

instead of into them.

Before your heart learned to guard itself from joy.

There was a time when the world felt wide open.

When ordinary places shimmered with possibility.

When nothing was too small to notice,

and nothing too simple to celebrate.

Children don’t rush through moments—

they live inside them.

A grocery store isn’t just a task,

it’s a jungle of colors, sounds, textures,

where every aisle holds a new discovery.

A moving cart becomes a chariot.

The produce section a treasure trove.

Even fluorescent lights seem to sparkle.

Their eyes are not tainted by the world.

Their hearts are not hard, but soft—

open, curious, full of trust.

No shame, no cynicism, no perversion.

Only joy, innocence, and laughter

bubbling up like living water.

To live like this is to live awake.

To move slowly enough to see the sacred in the simple.

To stop, to ask, to admire—

because everything feels new,

and everything is worth noticing.

This is how life was meant to be lived—with God.

Not as a distant deity looking down,

but as a present Father, walking beside us,

delighting with us in the details,

laughing with us in the little things.

God is more childlike than we imagine—

not immature, but pure.

Unstained by sin, untouched by pride.

He is joy in its purest form.

He is love with no hidden agenda.

He is curiosity, creativity, and compassion—all perfectly whole.

And He made you to live this way too.

Not weighed down by fear or performance,

but free. Soft-hearted.

Able to wonder.

Able to see.

Your deepest desires—

the longing to be known, to be loved, to belong—

were placed in you by Him.

You were created not just to walk near God,

but to walk with Him, led by His Spirit,

in daily communion, heart to heart.

He doesn’t just call you servant—

He calls you His beloved.

His friend. His child. His bride.

This is the mystery we were made for:

to be united with God in love,

not in theory, but in every moment.

To be one with Him in purpose,

in rhythm, in joy.

We often think we know what will fulfill us.

We chase our own plans, our own pleasures,

but they leave us empty.

God, in His goodness, knows us better than we know ourselves.

He knows how to satisfy our souls in ways the world never could.

His leadership is not controlling—it’s freeing.

His will is not oppressive—it’s healing.

What He desires for us is what we were always searching for—

because we were made by Him and made for Him.

To follow Him is not to lose ourselves—

it’s to find who we truly are.

To be fulfilled not by chasing more,

but by being filled with the One who is everything.

So maybe the invitation isn’t to grow up and forget,

but to return—to wonder,

to joy,

to love without fear,

to innocence without shame,

to life with God at the center of everything.

Because this is how life was always meant to be lived.
